Clarins Energizing Cleansing Gel Review

Hey Beauties!

Now I have to admit, I’m not someone that’s dedicated to specific or holy grail cleanser which leads me into trying out multiples of cleansers most likely almost every month from different brands. I feel like I’m so boujee at the moment as I’m using a cleanser from Lamelle in the mornings and this one in the evenings. However once I run out of the Lamelle cleanser I will be purchasing another one of this Clarins Daily Energizing Cleansing Gel.

Clarins is not a brand that really intrigued me as well as Estée Lauder (as per skincare). I honestly had an impression that these sort of brands were geared towards mature woman, or at least the mature woman I’ve spoken to loved these types of brands. I decided to dig into Clarins and see what this about as I was not really educated on the brand or the different ranges of skincare they offer.

Jacques Courtin-Clarins created Clarins in 1954. He had one concept in mind which was to take Beauty seriously. Face and body products were created from plant based extracts.

Today now offering skincare, makeup, body products, sun, fragrance. This brand has definitely grown over the years but remaining true to their concept and style.

I’m very into cleansers that foam up especially once I’ve removed my makeup as I feel like it’s deeply Cleansing my skin effectively. I love that squeaky clean feeling and finding a good Gel cleanser that does that seems easy, but in actual fact it’s not. I’ve tried many and so far this has pleasantly surprised me with the result. It foams up decently; it cleanses and further removes excess makeup (hence why I love using it at night) and effectively removes dirt and toxins very well. The amount I use is not that much too and find that it still cleanses well. This one tube has lasted me so far just over a month and as you can see in the picture I’ve only used a quarter of it so far.

I believe the Energizing line is geared towards people in their 20’s and it provides that fresh, energizing, radiant, forever young appearance to the skin. Me no listen and me use this although me not in her 20’s anymore haha. Funny enough when I was in my 20’s I started using anti aging products, so using products that are geared towards certain ages doesn’t really bother me.

Other segments Clarins offers is Multi active (30’s); Extra firming (40’s); Super Restorative (50’s).

Their lip oil has been highly raved about which is very intriguing so I might want to try that too, as well as a foundation and serum. I’m glad that this has opened me up to trying brands I would normally pass up on or finding out more information about what else is out there especially with all these options and ‘competitions’ in the beauty industry.

What are some of your favorite Clarins products, any suggestions?

Thanks for stopping by😊
