Maui Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner + L’Oréal Magic Retouch Spray Review

Hey Beauties!

I’ve run out of my previous shampoo and conditioner by Shea Moisture and I still love that line and would repurchase their products. But I do love exploring other options and other brands when it comes to hair care. There are tons on the market and dabbing into products here and there to form a solid hair care routine with holy grail products is the aim.

I decided to try the Maui Moisture line as I do enjoy products that are natural, sulphate free with good ingredients in it to ensure my hair is healthy as I am growing it out. I have dry hair hence I chose the Moisture line from Maui. The line does offer other concerns like volume, curls etc. All their products is safe to use on any hair type or concern including color treated hair.

As per the website:

‘Maui Moisture was inspired by handcrafted ingredients that can be found on tropical islands like Maui. Most shampoos and conditioners start with deionized, chemically treated water as their primary ingredient. Maui Moisture starts with a unique blend with Aloe Vera juice and is infused with pure coconut water. Maui Moisture is crafted into 6 amazing ranges for all different hair types and textures to help get your hair looking healthy. An escape to the Maui islands 🌴 with every use.’

Maui Shampoo and Conditioner

Description:

‘Weightless coconut milk infuses this light and creamy conditioner blend along with sheer guava oil and mango butter. Use this lightweight blend without fear of buildup and give your hair a healthy glow and shine!’

Directions for shampoo:

Apply shampoo generously to wet hair, massage into lather then rinse thoroughly. Follow with conditioner.

Directions for conditioner:

After shampooing, apply conditioner generously to hair. Wait 3-5 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly.

I cannot believe the scent of this shampoo and conditioner! I’m very picky when it comes to coconut scents because fake coconut scents I really cannot deal with and most likely would have given this away if I didn’t like the scent of this, even if the product performed well. A scent in products affects me that much. This smells as close if not the exact same as a real coconut. I was blown away how amazing this smells. The scent lingered for a couple of days after washing my hair and I love it. The ingredients are natural which is what I like in hair products and it’s sulphate free, vegan and lightweight. My felt extremely soft, well cleansed and very moisturizing. The shampoo lathers pretty decent and the conditioner deeply nourishes my hair. The scent though, my absolute favorite is so good. The texture is not thick and very lightweight whereby my hair isn’t weighed down or heavy.

I would urge anyone looking for a bomb shampoo and conditioner to try this brand as I’m hooked. The performance, quality, scent, packaging is all on point, and doesn’t fail to deliver. I really do need their shine mist and hair mask from this line too.

I purchased mine at Clicks Pharmacy. Contains 385 ml/ 13 US Fl oz.

No Minerals, no Silicones, no SLS, no Sulphate Surfactants, no Sythetic Dyes, no Ales.

Lóreal Magic Retouch Root Spray

I thought I would include this product today as I purchased this the same day as the Maui products.

As per the website:

‘Our magic root cover up conceals greys in seconds for flawless roots. Get seamless coverage with our lightweight formula that leaves no smudging or sticky residue when dry, and that’s Ammonia and Peroxide free. Perfect for in between color or salon visits. Lasts until your next shampoo.’

Thanks a million to L’Oréal for creating this! I’ve sprayed it about 3 times so far and already purchasing a backup of this product. I don’t color my hair that often or have grey hair, but the reason I use this is to fill in my hair line when rocking a bun, sleek back ponytail or when my hair is half up, half down. I use to fill my hair line with black or deep brown eye shadow. With this product it’s so easy, less time spent filling in my hairline and it’s safe and harmless on my roots and scalp. The nozzle is very fine for precise application and I love that it lasts until I wash my hair. Definitely holy grail product from now onward. I purchased mine in the shade Black.

If you someone that fills in your hairline, colors your hair quiet often, does not have time to dye your hair or if you salon visits are limited, has grey hair, try this and you’ll thank me later…

I purchased mine at Clicks Pharmacy. Contains 75ml. Available in 4 shades.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by😊
