Dream Street Palette (KathleenXColourpop) Review

Hey Beauties!

Since I purchased this Colourpop and Kathleen Lights Dream Street Palette  I’ve been playing around with the shades, testing the formula and want to share my thoughts on this palette.

Firstly I love Kathleen Lights, I’ve been following her for years and watched her grow as a YouTuber. I do trust her opinion and the products/ brands she collabs with doesn’t disappoint. I’ve tried previous collabs with Colourpop which included the singles in the super shock shadows and liquid lipsticks. I completely finished those shadows and lipsticks to the bone which tells how much I loved it.

I’ve never tried Colourpop’s pressed eye shadows until now and decided to test it out using Kathleen’s Dream Street palette. I believe the single eye shadows sold (not in a palette form) has the same quality as the palettes.

With this palette there are enough matte and shimmer shades to create looks using only this palettes. I don’t usually like reaching for 5 different palettes to create a look, using this one palette alone makes it easy. The matte shades are very pigmented, even the dark blue/ navy I didn’t expect to be as pigmented as it is. The shimmer shades apply like foil shadows and very opaque even dry. I love this selection of shades as it’s easy to create a look or get creative with this palette. The swatches are pigmented but the performance on the eyes is even better. It’s lasts the entire day/ night and remains as vibrant and opaque by the end of the day.

This is the look I came up with. I tried incorporating a lot (not all) of the shades. Maybe I’ll create another look with this palette in the next couple of posts.

I would definitely recommend this palette. Not only do I personally love Kathleen but the quality, pigmentation and story line of this palette is absolutely stunning. This is still available on the Colourpop website but I purchased mine via Shop Fashion Police Online.

Have you tried this palette? What are your thoughts?

Thanks for stopping by 😊
