In my recent haul I was very excited to purchase my first Juvia’s Place Eye Shadow palette. I decided to chose the Nubian 2 palette as the varies shades interested me. What really surprised me was the size of this palette as well as the pan sizes, it’s huge!
As per the website:
This collection was inspired by Nefertiti, a beauty icon known for her outstanding beauty, strength and spirituality.
This highly-pigmented eye shadows blends flawlessly. A great palette to create a classic yet exotic look. Features 4 matte colors and 8 metallic colors. This is double the size of our original Nubian eye shadows.
Paraben free. Cruelty free (not tested on animals).
Net wt: 45 grams/ 1.58 oz each pan net weight: 3.5g / 0.12 Oz
I love the packaging, culture and spirituality of this brand. It’s bright, eye catching and vibrant which I appreciate.
Like I mentioned the pan size and packing is huge which caught me by surprise. Because the eye shadows are so pigmented and the pan size being so big, this will last a lot longer than regular eye shadows.
The shades coincide and blend very well together making it easy to get my creative juices flowing.
I did not use any setting spray while using the shimmer shades and they still appeared vibrant which was impressive. You only need a tiny bit of product for the matte shade as these shades are intense and very creamy but blend easily on the lids. I tried using as many shades as possible to achieve a look and wore it for the entire day and it stayed on very well. The intensity did not fade, smudge or move on my lids and remained as is for the entire day. I even mixed two shades and applied it as a highlighter on my cheeks, nose and above my brows and it was beaming.
I have no complaints about this palette and it is definitely a palette I will reach for on a regular basis. Juvia’s place got me really interested now and I’m very happy with the overall quality, pigmentation and concept of their products.
