My Experience:

I bought this while it was on sale for only R170 on Shop Fashion Police online.

I love the packaging as it’s small and compact and easy to travel with or store.

Contains six shades, all matte with two shades containing sparkle.

The pigmentation is opaque even though we all know how difficult it is to perfect or make colorful shades especially blue and purple and for it being a vegan and cruelty free brand. These applied very well, blended out very well except for one shade being the pink with sparkle/ glitter. I had a hard time applying the pink shade especially for it being in the center of the halo eye I created. I spent a lot of time packing and layering this shade on and it faded quite a bit the more I packed this shade on. I’m assuming this is because it contains flecks of sparkle and that it is such a vivid, hot pink that’s why I had a hard time but I somehow made it work in the end.

The pink shade stained my lids after removing and it remained stained for one day. This is the only shade in the palette I did not like. The other shades I had no problem with.

Overall this is a fun palette to have on hand especially when you want to add a pop of color to a basic look. I like the concept and how playful this palette is. It definitely brings out creativity.

The look I created using all the shades:

Have you tried this palette or any of Laura Lee Los Angeles Palettes before?
