Babor Gentle Peel and Foam Mask Skincare Review

Hey Beauties!

As you well aware or if you are not, skincare plays a huge role in my daily routine. I’d rather skip a meal and purchase a quality skincare product, that’s the level I’m on. I’ve used tons of exfoliators and masks and I’ve been using these two products for months and finally getting round to completing a full review.

Babor Gentle Peeling

As per the website:

A mild face peel with the Anti-OX Complex and pyrus malus (apple) water. Removes superficial dead skin cells and restores radiance to the skin.

A mild face peel for all skin types. Leaves the skin feeling smooth and supple and creates a more even, refined and radiantly beautiful complexion.
Can ideally be used before applying a self-tanning product. It also prepares skin optimally for subsequent skincare products.

The peel prepares the skin for subsequent skincare products. The Anti-OX Complex helps to strengthen the skin’s natural defenses against harmful environmental influences. Natural exfoliating grains are the perfect way to thoroughly remove dead superficial skin cells with long-lasting results.

Use 1-2 times a week, after cleansing. Apply to the face, neck and décolleté (omit the eye and mouth areas). Exfoliate the skin using circling movements, then rinse off with plenty of lukewarm water.

My Experience:

This is a physical exfoliator containing micro granules which I actually enjoy the feeling of. I’m not sure if it’s all in my head, but I feel like I get that squeaky clean feeling after exfoliating with this. A tiny amount goes a long way and spreads quite far. I apply this on dry skin and then add a tiny bit of water on my finger tips to evenly distribute it all over my face and neck.

This leaves my skin feeling extremely soft, smooth and supple. I enjoy using this every single time I use it. Although it only contains 50ml and the tube looks tiny, I’ve had this for months and it has lasted because I only use a small portion for each use.

I use this two to three times per week especially when my skin feels a little bit rough, dry and I’ve worn a full face of makeup for days in a row.

I would definitely recommend this if you in need of a good exfoliator for all skin types even sensitive.

Contains 50ml of product. Babor is a professional skincare brand carried in varies spa’s and salons worldwide or via their website.

Babor Moisturizing Foam Mask

As per the website:

This foaming mask has been specially developed for dry skin. Dry skin lacks oil and moisture. This results in a dull, raw, flaky appearance and leaves the skin feeling less elastic and soft. An unpleasant tension in the skin particularly occurs following cleansing.

The DEEP MOIST Extract, in combination with polysaccharides and NMFs provides intensive moisture and supports the skin’s own hydrating processes. The botanical lipids, derived from lady’s smock and almond oils, maintain the natural skin barrier to guard against moisture loss.

The skin appears well cared for and noticeably softer. The gentle foam feels especially light when applied.

Apply 1-2 times per week following cleansing. Allow 15 minutes to work and massage any remaining foam into the skin. Shake before use.

My Experience:

I apply this after exfoliating also two to three times per week. I think of this as a conditioner and the exfoliator as a shampoo. This works very well together as it hydrates and leaves my skin feeling extremely soft and smooth. This is a foam mask and I enjoy shaking the bottle and applying the foam and patting it into my skin. I have quite a bit of product left and I’ve had this for months therefore this is worth the money.

I don’t apply and remove this after 15 minutes, you could, but I chose to leave this on overnight as an overnight mask/ night time moisturizer. The next morning my skin is as smooth as a baby’s bottom and I absolutely love how moisturized, supple and clear my skin feels and appears.

I would definitely recommend this mask as it maintains my skin’s overall brightness and hydration.

Contains 75ml of product. Babor is a professional skincare brand carried in varies spa’s and salons worldwide or via their website.
