Hey Beauties!
I’ve been cutting out a few steps in my morning makeup routine lately. I think full glam, “cake face” on a daily basis isn’t flattering at all. Even when I go out or special occasions I’ve been cutting out certain steps in my routine too. Not only does this save time, but my overall appearance is more youthful, radiant and beaming.
I’m really loving this minimal makeup style where my skin can breathe, freckles and imperfections can still peek through and I think I still look well presented and put together. Oh and the biggest part of all is NO FOUNDATION was applied at all! I was inspired by Desi Perkins in a recent video she did where she wore no foundation too and kept everything to a minimal.
Products Used:
Concealer under the eyes and a tiny bit on my forehead – Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
A glowing cream is then applied on the cheeks and T-Zone from Mac Cosmetics Stobe Cream
I used a small amount of blush on the apples on the cheeks, nose and forehead by BH Cosmetics Nude Blush Palette
I skip bronzer, powder, baking, contour ect. and slightly highlight my cheekbones, inner corner and nose with Mac Cosmetics Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Whisper of Gilt
Using only a brow gel with light pressure I apply Maybelline Brow Gel
I applied false lashes because personally applying false lashes is quicker than applying mascara (believe it or not)
I love lip gloss and this also amps up my look using my favorite gloss from Fenty Beauty Universal Gloss Bomb
Steps I’ve skipped which I would normally include in the past:
Eye shadow, bronzer/ contour, brow pencil and brow pomade, foundation, translucent powder, mascara, lip liner, lipstick, eye pencil or eye liner, primer and setting spray.
This look takes me about 10 minutes or less to complete which saves so much time especially in the morning when I’m rushing or running late. I love that it also lasts the entire day and I’ll carry a pressed powder in my hand bag and lip gloss to touch up throughout the day.
Are you into minimal makeup? How much time do you spend getting ready on an average morning for work, school or college?
Thanks for stopping by 😊
Absolutely beautiful! xx

Gorgeous look! Your skin is so beautiful 💕 I’ve also been inspired to go foundation-free, even though my skin is definitely not as clear and beautiful as yours! But I definitely think this summer is the time to try this out! Great post 😊

Thank you so much S! I must admit it takes getting use to as we love our full coverage beat. But it’s definitely a lot more natural and youthful to be foundation free. I love watching Samantha Ravndahl on YouTube and her style of makeup is also very intriguing and she suffers from acne. I would recommend getting tips from her. Xx

Love the look- so minimal and pretty. Very Glossier. Can’t believe applying lashes is faster for you than applying mascara, haha. Great post!

You always look gorgeous!
It takes me about 15-20 minutes to do my make-up in the morning. But when I do a very simple look, it’s usually something between 5 and 10 minutes.
