Lancôme Skin Feels Good Tint and Rouge In Love Lipstick Review

Hey Beauties!

I received 20% off this beauty sale at Woolworths and the purpose was to purchase the Lancome skin feels good tinted moisturizer, the added bonus was the discount I received.

Seeing that I’ve been into minimal makeup recently (shocking I know) I’ve decided to give the medium to full coverage foundation a bit of rest. On a daily basis I now opt for lightweight, very minimal, sheer coverage tint or foundation. I never ever use to be into the BB cream, tinted moisturizer or sheer coverage products but now I am obsessed. I am very happy with my skin and my skincare routine is very strict hence why I now prefer showing it off.

Lancome Skin Feels Good Tinted Moisturizer

As per the website:

What it is:
A hydrating skin tint for the “no-makeup makeup” look, infused with skin-loving ingredients that puts your skin first with sheer to buildable natural coverage. Your skin will literally feel good!

What it does:
This oil-free skin tint was specially made for the woman who wants radiant, even looking skin with ease. Skin Feels Good provides a sheer tint of color that allows your skin to shine through for a healthy glow. Available in 11 super breathable & adaptable shades, it is enriched with skin-loving ingredients such as: hyaluronic acid to lock-in moisture and plump, moringa seed extract to revitalize and protect against free radicals and SPF 23 protection.

How to use:
– For the perfect base, apply Hydra Glow primer to even skin and blur-out pores
– Starting in the center of the face, apply the product and blend outwards
– For more Coverage, build the product on trouble spots
– Follow with Maquicomplet radiant concealer where needed to diffuse imperfections

My experience:

I love that the packaging contains a pump even though it’s in a tube. This is convenient for on the go or traveling as it will not get ruined or leek in your bag. I chose a shade which matches me very well even though unfortunately in store there were not many shades to choose from. This is a constant problem especially in stores where the selection of shades are depressing.

The consistency is like a moisturizer and I use about two pumps to cover my face and neck. It states that it’s a skin tint so I’m expecting medium to full coverage. I use a brush or my fingers to spread this out with no primer. I don’t feel the need for a primer as this contains hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture, moringa seed extract to protect against free radicals and an SPF 23 so why wouldn’t I want to wear this everyday? Makeup that contains skincare benefits, I’m here for it.

The consistency is very lightweight and does not feel like I’m wearing makeup or sit heavy on the skin. It blends quite fast and sinks into my skin very well. I can still see my freckles and imperfections peeking through but my skin tone is even, radiant and youthful.

I wore this a couple of days consecutively and even though it’s currently summer this wore absolutely beautifully throughout the day. Because it has that moisturizing properties and sunk into my skin after application, throughout the day it did not break apart, slip or slide and my skin appeared as it did the morning. It’s not like a foundation where it settles into fine lines, breaks apart or separates as the day goes on.

I applied powders and other cream products on top and had no issues with it.

This really impressed me and I’m reaching for this on a daily basis now and this my new go-to daytime skin tint which has replaced a foundation for daily use.

I would definitely recommend this skin tint to everyone even if you have problematic skin or oily skin, this has skincare benefits and in the long run rather use a product that benefits your skin than packing on a foundation that’s non beneficial. You have the option to cover up blemishes or imperfections with a concealer and use this skin tint as a base.

My experience:

Absolutely love the packaging, it’s silver, sleek and looks expensive. This is my first Lancôme lipstick and had high hopes.

Honestly when I read “long wearing” I didn’t think this would actually be long wearing…

I chose a neutral/ nude shade which I could wear on the daily. What threw me off is that it does have a creamy formula and it’s a lipstick hence I thought I would need to reapply within an hour or so of wear time. However, I’m assuming it contains the same ingredient/s or similar ingredient/s as the Mac Prolong wear lipstick as the staying power is very similar. This lasted for hours on my lips with no touch ups yet it felt featherlight (as the description suggests) and moisturizing without drying out my lips.

I was very impressed with the longevity of this and I would definitely wear it on days I don’t have time to constantly touch up my lips or when I’m at work.

I would recommend this to everyone who dislikes matte liquid lipsticks but in need of a long wear, comfortable formula.

Have you tried any of these products from Lancôme? What are your top recommendations for Lancôme?

Thanks for stopping by 😊
