What’s In My Daily Makeup Travel Bag

Hey Beauties!

I don’t think I travel or keep too much makeup when I’m on the go. This in fact is mainly for touch ups and if I don’t have time to apply makeup at home, I’ll use these products to quickly and effectively apply using minimal tools.

Touch Ups:

Essence Cosmetics Blotting Sheets

Essence Cosmetics Banana Brighten Up Powder

I rarely use blotting sheets as I my skin is dry, but on the odd occasion where I’m in hot climates or if I’m having a hectic day I would then use blotting sheets for my nose or T-Zone.

I purchased the Essence powder because it was affordable and although it does it’s job by brightening my skin, I find that it’s a tiny bit drying on my skin therefore I tend to use the tiniest amount when touching up. I will switch over to the Mac powder for touch ups when I purchase it.

Bronzer:

Inglot Cosmetics Freedom System HD Sculpting Bronzer

Like I mentioned, if I should complete a full face of makeup using these products I will bronze the parameters of my face with this. I don’t really touch up my bronzer if I’ve already applied a full face of makeup on at home. I love how small and compact this bronzer is and works very well with my complexion. The brush is from the Benefit Hoola travel size bronzer which I ran out of and was previous on the go bronzer.

Brows:

BH Cosmetics Flawless Brow Trio

I love touching up my brows with this BH powder, it’s compact with a mirror, brush and different tones of brow shades to suit my brows.

The Maybelline brow gel tames any hairs that may have fallen out of place or if I forgot to set my brows before leaving home which has happened numerous times.

Concealer:

Mac Cosmetics Studio Finish NC42

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define C8

I have very watery eyes, to a point where my concealer under my eyes has been completely smeared off by me rubbing and blotting my watery eyes. Therefore concealer (and eye drops) is a must to carry in my bag.

Foundation:

Mac Cosmetics Studio Sculpt SPF 15 NW35

I specifically chose this foundation as it can be applied with my hands/ fingertips. It contains a gel-like formula which blends into the skin very fast and does not need to be set with a powder for a skin-like appearance.

Mascara:

Mac Cosmetics False Lashes Extreme Black

I purchased this mascara from Mac because it’s a travel size product and I’ve tried this mascara before and I like it. It provides more length than volume. If I’m going to be completing a makeup look using these products from my makeup bag, it will be a natural, minimal look therefore I wouldn’t need a mascara to provide both length and volume or create dramatic lashes.

I added lash glue for when I’m wearing false eyelashes and it accidentally comes loose or lifts.

Lip balm:

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter

I cannot live without lip balm and cannot stand having dry, crusty lips. I actually carry more than one lip balm in my bag but figured I’d share this which is what I use mostly during the day, whether I’m wearing lipstick or liquid lipstick I will always apply lip balm first.

The bag is from Bath and Body Works.

What are some of your on the go makeup essentials?

Thanks for stopping by 😊
