Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum

Hey Beauties!

Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum

I tried a sample of this from Sephora last year and stretched out that sample size for a number of days or even close to a week and a half if I remember correctly. I absolutely fell in love with this serum and although skincare takes quite a while to notice results, with that sample I was highly impressed with claims and results it gave me. One of the claims states that you are able to start seeing results within just 7 days, I suppose that’s how potent and fast results are met.

I purchased the mama size about a month ago and I do not regret that decision at all. To be honest I would spend more money on excellent skincare than purchasing high-end makeup and cheap skincare. It makes more sense to invest in your skincare in my opinion.

This entire Lancome Genifique line is not only luxurious but with the advanced technology, results and benefits are amazing too. I only opted for the serum as I use other products for moisturizers, eye creams etc.

As per the website:

With NEW tested efficacy, and for all skin types, a fast-acting anti-aging skin serum that instantly makes skin feel hydrated, smooth and soft, revealing more radiant skin in as little as seven-days.

What else you need to know:
No skincare routine is complete without a face serum. In just one bottle, this powerful anti-aging skin treatment, which contains Bifidus Prebiotic, targets the key signs of youth in just seven-days: radiance, tone, elasticity, smoothness and firmness.

With new tested efficacy, this hydrating serum helps to accelerate skin surface recovery and strengthen the moisture barrier. The Advanced Génifique bottle also features an innovative self-loading dropper for the perfect usage amount/per application.

Mine contains 100ml/ 3.38 fl.Oz of product. I purchased mine at Woolworths Beauty Department Store.

My Experience:

I tried a sample of this in the past therefore I am familiar with the performance of this serum. Even though it was a sample, it lasted a while as only two to three drops is needed for the entire face and neck.

The packaging is sleek with the iconic Lancome font/ logo. It contains a glass bottle with a dropper applicator which I don’t mind. I chose the 100ml as it was on discount a while ago. I’ve become accustomed to using serums on my skin as it’s vital. If you did not know, a serum aborbs quicker and deeper into your skin much more than a moisturiser does. That’s one of the main reasons why I find quicker and greater results using a serum before my moisturiser.

As the name suggests this is an anti-aging serum and this year especially I’ve incorporated almost all skincare products that targets anti-aging. I am in my 30’s and would like to slow down the aging process and take better care of my skin the older I’m getting. This serum provides hydration, moisture as well smoothing out my fine lines. I can tell after a couple of uses the elasticity in my skin has improved even if it’s ever so slightly thus so far. This cannot be worn alone as a moisturiser would need to be applied after this serum. It does absorbs very quickly into the skin and the texture or constistency is very thin, it does not create a film or feel heavy or greasy. I apply this morning and night after cleansing.

I would definately recommend this serum. Even if anti-aging is not your main concern, incorporating this serum to lock in moisture and maintain your skin’s overall health would be beneficial. This will also last me months and months as only a tiny bit is needed for each use. It is definately a great investment and I do trust Lancome as brand that creates quality products.

Have you tried this serum or any other product from the Genifique line? What are your thoughts?
